Boat show season is back. For those of us in south/central Canada, Toronto's show from Jan. 12-20 is once again the place to kick off the season. Among the notable features this year, the seminar series includes:

• Ocean guru Jimmy Cornell's session "Voyage Planning in the Age of Electronic Charts"
• Derek Hatfield's talk on the Open 60 project Spirit of Canada
• Paul & Sheryl Shard on the ARC

I doubt I'll be able to make it to Toronto's show this year, but perhaps some of you will... if so, enjoy!
